When an amazing family friend gets married on a Sunday, and has their reception at a Brewery with a tator tot truck, you definitely make a triple wedding weekend happen!! Josh and Anna are one of a kind, I knew their wedding would be so unique and intentional.

And it all started with the dress. Anna’s dress blew my mind!!! And that she found it at an amazing bridal consignment store in Colorado on a girls trip, even better. Y’all she didn’t even need alterations! It fit her like a glove. And if you didn’t already notice, there are a couple of gals in the wedding party that look a tad alike. Twins maybe? Yes. I photographed Anna’s twin Amy’s wedding years ago, it has been  such an honor to photograph both of these special girls on their wedding day! Miss Jacyln you are next 🙂

I couldn’t help but have tears of happy all throughout the day. Seeing Josh be so excited and a bit nervous (which I always think is so adorable) to see his bride at their first look. To his reaction reading through her amazing gift of a journal she had started writing in when they started dating. She even had a journal entry in July of 2013 I believe, stating the day she wanted to marry Josh. She read it to him. Heart melt.

Their vows were exchanged literally in the middle of their closest friends and family. Solomon’s Porch has such an organic layout! The church is set up with no “front” just eclectic combination of comfortable couches and tables. It was such a cool venue to photograph as we could be up close and capture all the beautiful reactions during the ceremony and vows! Plus their exit?! I had to include a bunch of these images and they are just so full of happy, crazy, beautiful joy!

Lastly y’all. A brewery and food trucks for your reception!?!?!?!?! Come on now. It was SUCH a blast and such a creative reception that was put together with ease. Yes, it is ok to drool over all the food images. I know I still am. Also, it’s always fun to photograph family friends weddings as my family gets to attend! There might be a Cal cameo in this post too!

Arriving to a brides home the day of her wedding, is pretty special. Though my bride and groom are currently living and working in NYC, Nicole chose to get ready at their forever Minnesota home that her and Tyler renovated together. Plus, what made our arrival even better was when we were greeted by sweet Nala, the blue and brown eyed pup, amazing ladies getting ready with my sweet bride and the tunes that were pumping already.

Nicole and Tyler were married on one of the most gorgeous October days I can remember. Literally from day up to day down it felt like a dream! From the weather being unusually warm and the leaves changing just perfectly. To an outdoor ceremony and awesome stations for dinner. It was such a perfect day.

I love that they have known each other since middle school, but they didn’t start dating till later. One of my favorite parts of the reception was after the great speeches by their Maid of Honor and Best Man, Tyler got up to thank everyone and while he was wrapping up his speech he mentioned that he couldn’t wait to spend his forever with her. And Nicole stood up reached for the mic and said….”“For-ev-ER…” Sandlot anyone? Seriously one of my favorite movies as a kid!

Watching a couple move and glide and interact together is one of my favorite things to do. Each couple has their own dynamic and Nicole and Tyler just carried a timeless feeling. Almost like they have been together since those days in the 5th grade.

I have always wanted to photograph a Mill City Museum Wedding and it was meant to be that their wedding would be the one. The location, the couple, the bridal party all had the best hearts and humor. These two are surrounded by the best of the best. Their friends and family were so joyful and just joyful to see these two be wed, as am I! Nicole and Tyler it was an honor to photograph your amazing day! Congrats times a million you two!
