Reading this was such a lightbulb moment for me. I literally wrote in the margin “TAKE THAT COMPARISON”

I want to live between these paragraph lines everyday. Where I can squash comparison instead of it get lost in it. Where I can cheer my brains out for others successes. Where I can see God’s unique design in others gifts in a PURE way. True Freedom y’all.

St Paul Studio Engagement Photos

My favorite thing about these two is how simply beautiful and full of joy they are! This outfit was just perfect, classic and stunning! Can you even handle Hailey’s smile/laugh! From the first time I met Hailey who was there for her best friend Steph during their engagement session and their amazing wedding, I have been so blessed by Hailey’s amazing JOY.

This woman just radiates happy and joy! SO it was such a blessing to meet Chris, her perfect partner. I am so INCREDIBLY excited to be photographing their wedding at the amazing Van Duesen this summer. I loved how we got out and rocked the city and St. Paul Studio look!

Minneapolis One Year Studio Portraits

This dress. Y’all I about fell over when this momma showed it to me! Then I saw it on Baby H. and there is nothing cuter. Isn’t this the best!? It’s nothing but a blessing to watch families grow! Especially to celebrate the big One Year in the studio with images and then of course smashing to celebrate & sharing some nummy cake! It has been a super fun and popular session this year with my clients! Harper showed us how to get it done!

The last time this family was in front of my camera it was lush and green outside and this babe was a little over four months. It’s crazy how fast time flies and how quickly they grow! The way this sweet little one looks up in adoration at her parents with those sparkly blue eyes makes me happy. She is a beautiful little spit fire who made my day and still does when I look at this image below!!!!

A North Carolina Engagement Session

I thought Morgan and Adam’s North Carolina engagement session was a perfect one to share for St. Patrick’s day. I’m loving all the lush greenery in these images and counting down until spring!

Nothing beats the blooms in North Carolina and I am so grateful I get to travel there every spring usually right around the time they arrive! I was able to capture this bloom session and hopefully will capture some more when I am in town for the Making Things Happen Conference this March! I wish we had more trees like this up in Minnesota!

I still can’t get over these beautiful images & this amazing heart filled couple! I can’t wait to share their beautiful wedding that took place at the University of Minnesota! Their day holds one of my favorite wedding images to date!

I am totally FOR the trend of glamming up maternity photos with gorgeous gowns. My favorite place to check out for this for rocking that baby belly is the amazing Rent the Runway dresses! Especially when this family is welcoming another girl (she actually arrived yesterday!!) we couldn’t help ourselves with this gold sparkle stunner!

I photographed the amazing Emily Ley and her twin baby belly in this dress but in Navy. And I even wore it for our maternity photos in Pink. Y’all its a winner and is SO bump friendly!! I secretly want to rent this one for some crazy reason. Maybe if we ever get blessed with another pregnancy.

Big sister Nora is always a little ham for the camera, but my favorite is that she is wearing her mom’s wedding tiara and I can’t get over the image above of her cuddling her baby sister! So celebrate that sweet growing baby momma! And, having your portrait taken doesn’t have to be a 3 hour session – we rocked this in the studio in a little less than an hour! My friends are rocking it y’all! I had the opportunity to photograph headshots for two of my dearest Jess Connolly and Hayley Morgan for their upcoming book Wild and Free: A Hope-Filled Anthem for the Woman Who is Both Too Much and Never Enough. You can pre-order it now and it will be available on May 3rd! I just can’t wait to read their book in it’s entirety, it’s going to be amazing.

Y’all these two have so much incredible wisdom and I have been blessed SO much by the Influence Network they created! The Influence Network is a membership community of women that explores what it looks like for women to use their God-given influence in their everyday lives.

One of my favorite things about the network is the monthly classes that are part of the membership. I often play these in the backround while home with Cal doing household chores or during long spats of editing!

I get the opportunity to teach a class on Mentoring and Being Mentored over there tomorrow night! Free for members and so easy to access even if you aren’t!! Join us!

Take the word look and replace with thought & praise. Preaching to myself tonight. So convicting and inspiring. Y’all best lives are lived there.

Looking at Him instead of our circumstances. So many of our worries/problems could be peaceful if we were to just give Him 10 times more of our time and energy, instead of that time and energy in our anxious worry banks.

10X1. 10×1. Friends. He is worthy. Keep looking up. I’m fighting right beside you.
