WELL, HELLO!

I love when you love on each other.

Whether you are newly engaged, a new mother and your day old baby, or a couple exchanging vows.

I love capturing love written all over your faces.

Love for life.
Love for each other.
Love for your passion.

This is where I find the real you. Where the the giggles come out. I’ll meet you there.

Meet Laura + Brent. These two are so adorable. They worked it out during their session while dealing with the wind, rain and a little chill. These two are definitely meant for each other. You can just see it by how they look at one another. Laura brought her cute boots, and Brent’s hat. We had a great session of laughs, hugs, cuddles and a lil’ Zoolander. I am truly pumped up for their winter wedding.

Love her lil’ nose crinkle…

My favorites of the day…
Zoolander time..

Meet Ali + Shanna. I went to high school with Shanna and was so elated when she called me about capturing her wedding day. Shanna and I have a lot in common and we had a great time catching up during their session. I also found out that her man Ali and I also have a lot of injuries in common as well, those darn knees. They both have such an awesome style and showed up with some great outfits. My favorite part of the session was Ali’s ‘mean mug’ face, I couldn’t help but bust out laughing everytime he did it.  We had a perfect summer night in Uptown and closed down the session with a BEAUtiful sunset.

And then BAM we found this ridiculously amazing green wall! Then time for an outfit change and the beautiful golden summer sunset light came out to join us.

Meet Alyssa + Chris. This cute couple stole my heart on a Monday night. I truly caught myself smiling many times while capturing their moments. Alyssa has a gorgeous smile that is just to-die-for!  Also, this first picture was my absolute favorite. That little leg (in the cutest shoes) just popped right up during the kiss, like in a movie. I cannot wait for your wedding next June.

I love it when we find random things that have the couples wedding date. I really wanted to get closer to this, but I was already sinking in the mud going out this far.

We shot their session on White Bear Lake, I had no idea how dried up this lake was until we arrived. Literally my mouth dropped at the height of the water, it is just so sad. Let’s pray for more rain! WBL definitely needs it.

I was able to capture this family + senior session a couple weeks ago. They brought their golden doodle and she was so soft and cuddly. I love this first picture, and I think this puppy has such a great smile. It’s so funny how dogs become such a part of the family; and that you couldn’t think of doing your family photo without them. Our little pup Mya has made her way into most of our pictures now, and I never thought I would be one of those “dog mom’s” but I admit I totally am.

Jason’s is a senior at Eagan High School an a big lacrosse player. He totally rocked out his hockey hair and white hat. He also brought along his favorite jersey, to give Reggie Bush a little love.

A shout out to all the guys out there (if there are any that read my blog). Yes, us ladies do gab a lot. I guess us women are really born this way.

This was just too funny to not share (thanks for posting Stef K.)

Just wanted to throw out a quick note apologizing for my lack of blogging last week. I was sick earlier in the week and just got way behind on things especially my blogging.  I super de-dupery promise that I will have a mega slew of posts this week. Including the most important holiday card designs, posting a second mini-session date & times, and some sessions that I have been waiting to share.

Thanks for hanging in there, here are a couple goodies from a recent engagement session.  Happy first week of fall.

My MOST favorite moments are when my couples love on each other and I sit back and capture it. It’s breathtaking, and it is why I love my job so much.

These two are a prime example. Can you feel it? I sure do. Love their Love.  Eat it up.

Didn’t it feel like mid August this weekend? I can’t believe its already the middle of September.

I will be posting a bunch of updates this week including holiday card previews, an engagement session and a wedding or two. So stay tuned! In the meantime, can anyone tell me the name of these flowers? I think they are so beautiful.

Yea, so Mitch and I like bubble gum. (I wouldn’t usually post pictures this grainy, but i love them so)

This family was a blast to shoot, they listened very carefully and totally knew how to laugh.  We started with some portraits, Krysta was just back in town visiting as she lives in Canada. It was fun to hear about her experience up there and learn about her little pup. I love the connection between this brother and sister.  Enjoy.
