Family photos should not be full of stress.  Too often you are worrying about that one family member (you know who it is…) performing perfectly and smiling on command. Imagine having the weight of all of the smiling and looking at the camera off your shoulders! You’ll be pleasantly surprised (and possibly a bit concerned) at how silly and goofy I am and the lengths I’ll go to to capture that genuine smile. It’s about just showing up and letting me take it from there!

Picture this. You play, you laugh, you repeat my silly words like stinky toes, hairy nose, and banana head. You get to be present with your sweet family while you work those killer outfits you poured all the energy into. (I can help with that too. If that’s not your thing :)) You hand me the reigns of capturing the perfect family portrait and all the beautiful in between moments as well.

  • YOUR SESSION DAY: Before I arrive, details like your look and what to wear will already be decided. The day of our shoot you’ll rest easy knowing I’m by your side. You get to show up and I’ve got the rest. Lean back and let me create the moments with my goofy antics to showcase the life of your family and put it on my camera. The embrace you have with your son… the silly nose crunch smile after looking at your husband… these heart moments are what I’m after.

WHAT DOES LIFESTYLE MEAN?

My definition of a lifestyle session is a place where we capture your real. Not stuffy portraits or forced poses. Images that will live on as a legacy. I’m here for photos with those that matter most to you: family milestones, newborn, maternity session, or breathing new life into your business.

I HAVE VERY LITTLE CHILDREN THAT DON'T OFTEN SIT STILL EVEN FOR ME, HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH THAT?

Don’t worry this is super normal for little ones at a small age. We make fun our first priority and take photos while the fun is happening. I have tons of tricks up my sleeve to get that little one happy and interested. Tip? Let’s make sure to touch base on their schedule and nap time before we schedule your session. That will help a ton also!

HOW FAR SHOULD I BOOK YOU IN ADVANCE?

Typically 4-5 months in advance my schedule is completely full, with my summer and fall booking very early. My lifestyle newborn sessions typically fill quicker so contact me as soon as you find out that you are expecting and I can’t wait to pencil you in!

WHAT IS A LIVE-IN SESSION?

A Live-in Session is where I capture you and your loved ones in your element. I grab those little treasured moments that your family is built on. It’s also is exactly what you might be thinking. I come live with your family for a couple of days. To catch the nitty gritty, the little ones bed head, the nightly book reading, the pajamas. Essentially your daily routine, or lack thereof.  I get to revel at the beautiful craze that is your life! Imperfectly perfect. It’s the total opposite of the family posed portrait (which we will still get a couple). It’s the real, everyday happenings that go on in your home. This is what I am after. This is what inspires me to no end.  Live-in Sessions come in all shapes and sizes.
