***Cans for comments update…we are currently at 62 cans. I am going to extend the deadline till this Friday, December 11th. So, lets comment the heck out of my next couple of posts and feed those who are in need. My goal is to hit 150 comments which = 150 cans of food to feed local families. I know we can do it! Remember you can comment on each new post. ***

I took these photos while waiting for clients to arrive in mid November. Late fall  can be a challenging month for us photographers who love natural light. Why you ask? The beautiful fall leaves have dried up and fallen, it is getting colder and colder, and the days get shorter and shorter. At times it can almost be depressing to be in the in between stage of fall and winter.

However this season have been so inspired by the deadness. As much as I love green grass and beautiful flowers,  I just love the color pops and holiday feel these photos have. I especially love the first photo of the dried up pine tree. I think it would be awesome to have a mustard color christmas tree. As I have mentioned before, I have a small obsession with that color right now. What do you think my husband would think if I brought home a burnt christmas tree? Tempting I know. 🙂

I hope these photos also put you in the holiday spirit. At least if they don’t maybe the 6-10 inches of snow that is falling outside right now will. Happy Burnt Christmas.

I have driven by this location for the last two years and wanted to always shoot here. Seriously, I don’t know what it is but I just love it.  I would love to capture a couple here, but I couldn’t take it anymore so I begged my sister in law to shoot my 2 nieces and nephew. We had a day of yummy sun over Thanksgiving weekend. All of these images make me smile, because of the pure emotion of the kids. I posted a picture from this mini session earlier on the blog, and many of you commented that they youngest looks like she could be mine. That’s funny because this trio is from my husbands side. I have heard the myth that you start to look like the one you marry, does that happen with their family too?

Cans for comments update…we are currently at 37 cans. I am going to extend the deadline till this Friday December 11th, due to my lack of posting this week. So lets comment the heck out of my next couple of posts and feed those who are in need. My goal is to hit 150 comments which = 150 cans of food to feed local families. I know we can do it!

Meet 6 day old Conley. What an adorable little man, he was such a good little guy during his session. I love it when my newborn parents really work hard at keeping these little ones sleepy and peaceful. They were helping with feeding and just calming him to just relax and be peaceful.  I loved the accessories that Conley’s momma got from Etsy. Also, I can’t go with out saying Dad was a superdad as well. Helping me move things and even really awesome ideas. Enjoy yourself some of this cuddly little man.
