Honestly, the last 10 weeks have been so full. Bet Honestly, the last 10 weeks have been so full. Between weather calls, reschedules, homeschool, back-to-back shoot days, and life… my brain hit an all-time high with decision fatigue. Meals were the thing I had zero bandwidth left for. @prepclubandco stepped in and truly saved us this season. We’ve had good food on the table, less stress around dinner, fewer grocery trips, and way more variety. My kiddo has even tried new foods without the usual hesitation, which shocked me in the best way. And the grab-and-go options? Total win for homeschool mornings, work days, and those nights where everything runs late. If you’ve been curious, consider this your gentle nudge. It’s been such a gift for us. Pretty photos are nice, but they don’t do the he Pretty photos are nice, but they don’t do the heavy lifting for your business. ✨ Commercial photos should connect, tell a story, and make people feel something. That’s why I focus on capturing real moments, personalities, and the little details that make your business feel alive. When strategy, personality, and a touch of magic come together, your photos don’t just look good, they work. They attract the right people, show your values, and make your audience envision themselves choosing YOU. What business had photos that totally sold you?
Showing up consistently doesn’t just mean postin Showing up consistently doesn’t just mean posting every day from your company’s account…it’s about having visuals that actually represent your business, while brand and your energy (that make it exciting and easy to post consistently!) Wayy too often I hear from businesses that they’re always scrambling for photos at the last minute, using the same generic stock images, or stretching one good photo across every platform until it loses its impact (and falls completely flat.) Plus those stock images, how would anyone tie that back to your business when it’s being used by 15 other companies? They can’t…and that’s how your business ends up forgotten and lost in a sea of boring images that don’t really mean anything to anyone (including you!) Intentional commercial photo sessions change that. They give you a library of images that feel representative of you AND your business, ready to use whenever you need them. Having cohesive imagery that is filled with energy, personality and your ability business’s product makes your visuals immediately recognizable. Every time they scroll past a photo, get an ad or an email, they’ll know exactly who sent it, and be reminded of the energy of your business!
Your kids don’t have to behave for a photo sessi Your kids don’t have to behave for a photo session to be successful…and trying to make them can actually make it worse. Remember those portrait studios at JCPenney or the church photo days? Holding a smile for what felt like an hour while some grown-up told you not to move. Woof. I still love the random, playful photos of me and my family from childhood way more than those stiff ones. That’s why I care so much about the in-btw moments. Sure, we’ll grab the “everyone looking” shot. But the magic is in the wiggles, the movement, the silly stuff. Those are family photos that you immediately want to set as your phone background and hang around the house are easy to capture when kids are moving, exploring, laughing, or even making a little mess. Because that is the spice of life! Who agrees??
