Choosing to school differently has made such an am Choosing to school differently has made such an amazing impact on our family. It’s opened the door to so much growth, connection, and flexibility that we just wouldn’t have experienced otherwise. It’s not “typical” (and it definitely comes with its own challenges!!), but it’s been one of the most rewarding decisions for me, my son, and our family as a whole. 💕 Homeschooling OUR way has allowed us to focus on what truly works for us, and I couldn’t recommend embarking on a homeschooling journey more. Commercial photography doesn’t have to be super st Commercial photography doesn’t have to be super stiff or “corporate.” It can be full of personality, energy, and the REAL humans that support and love your brand! And seeing my clients experience this content library magic, for the first time is always the very best part. 💞
February wasn’t perfect, but it was full! Spent a February wasn’t perfect, but it was full! Spent a ton of time on wellness trying to get my priorities back in order! 🏋️‍♀️Lifting, double red light, trampoline, my cgm, macros and reading on the lymph plate. Along with field trips, bleachers and bball games, the GOAT movie, mastering the perfect paper airplane, the most boring Super Bowl game I probably have ever seen, dog sitting, watching ALL the Olympics (is it weird to miss watching highlights cuddled up on the couch at prime time?) and getting my hair did by @erinadamekstyling and loving the new direction we are going. Also, it’s almost impossible for me to ever curl it this good!!!!! Though the month was short it was stacked with everyday things that have me feeling grateful. What was a favorite moment from your February??
I’m all about tech that makes life easier…except w I’m all about tech that makes life easier…except when it comes to commercial photography. Sure, AI can spit out a “pretty” image, but it can’t capture the humanity, the personality, or the connection that ACTUALLY makes people trust a business (even when they don’t know why!!) Real commercial photography is all about the people behind the brand, their energy, the story you’re telling, and even those little tiny details (or adorable tiny humans in this shoot) that make your company feel approachable, authentic, and supremely REAL. No robots needed. Just humans showing humans what your business is truly about. 💖 Who else is an AI photo creation hater with me?
I truly believe community is EVERYTHING. Especial I truly believe community is EVERYTHING. Especially when your days are packed, your to do list is endless, and it feels like there’s never enough hours (or even minutes!) in the day. Finding spaces where you can connect, laugh, learn, find support, and show up as yourself fuels your soul. And as a creative that feels so so important. Over the years, I’ve found mine through basketball leagues, walks in the neighborhood, bible study nights, and other little pockets of connection that recharge me and remind me I’m not doing this alone. These are the places that keep me grounded, inspired (and if I’m being 100% honest!!) way more sane. 💕 What’s one community you love being a part of? If you know one thing about me…you probably know I If you know one thing about me…you probably know I’m becoming a bit of a book nerd! 📚 Trying my best to break my scrolling habits before bed. Reading has become my little reset/relax time, whether I’m cozy with a physical book or listening on Spotify while I’m on the go or editing( which is basically always!!) Last year I set a goal to read more and ended up finishing 26 books between June and December (I know…I even surprised myself!!) But this year I’m aiming for 42! I’ve already started a few this month and have a loonnggg running list going, but I’m always looking for new recs!! What are you reading this year? I’m taking notes! ✍️
