Simple-Yet-Stunning Summery Country Club Wedding
Jenny and Max’s day at Interlachen Country Club was so classic; these two intentionally planned each part of the day. From Max scenting his card in the gift to Jenny, to Jenny’s GIF of travel journals with her vows written in it. Everything seemed elevated and was a true reflection of their interests, particularly their love of the Lord and others. Their pastor spoke of their amazing energy + humble confidence during their ceremony and y’all it came through in every detail.
It was striking how intentionally they made it a Christ-filled day. It was literally a pure honor to be there! There was such a beautiful blend of traditional + modern songs. One of my favorite touches was an Ebenezer, or blessing stone, display that guests prayed over and gifted to the couple. And then at the reception the couple had handwritten postcards to each of their guests as place cards. Y’all each postcard was hand-written!! I was blown away! And they also encouraged guests to take their own Ebenezer stones home.
I also felt the sense of adventure of this sweet couple (remember the snakes?!) and how they carried it through their day. From the men playing Scattergories in the morning to the tunnel of balloons to the amazing games that Jenny + Max lead—it was full of joy and fun.
