This couple is so perfect for each other. They had an awesome wedding on an unusual chilly day in August. Blake is a good friend from high school, who I can honestly give some credit for my success in photography. He let me borrow his canon digital camera for a summer (about 7 years ago) and I couldn’t stop buying canon from that day on! 🙂 Thanks buddy. I remember the first time Blake told me about Katie he was so excited about this girl, I knew it just would be a matter a time before they were married. Their wedding had a whole bunch of DIY elements, Katie worked really hard and made the details amazing. Here are her flowers that she made herself!
Katie’s dress was SO gorgeous, beautiful lace and just pure simplicity.
I also love-love-loved Katie’s hair. The knots were just awesome. I want to get my hair done like this! FYI I love these portraits of Katie.
These two also had their two children as a big part of the ceremony. Cristofer & Brekka looked so adorable.
“Tofer” as they call him, walked his mommy up the aisle and when the pastor asked “who gives this woman to be married?” he shouted out “ME” So cute!
The wedding party that was sporting the awesome fuchsia. Loved the detail on the guys vests & the girls flowers that once again Katie made.
Last but not least the cake photos. Blakes face & the cake topper are priceless.
Thank you both for letting me be part of your special day!
