This couple is so perfect for each other. They had an awesome wedding on an unusual chilly day in August. Blake is a good friend from high school, who I can honestly give some credit for my success in photography. He let me borrow his canon digital camera for a summer (about 7 years ago) and I couldn’t stop buying canon from that day on! 🙂 Thanks buddy. I remember the first time Blake told me about Katie he was so excited about this girl, I knew it just would be a matter a time before they were married. Their wedding had a whole bunch of DIY elements, Katie worked really hard and made the details amazing. Here are her flowers that she made herself!

I want to get my hair done like this! FYI I love these portraits of Katie.untitled-eee1untitled-1untitled-4untitled-8These two also had their two children as a big part of the ceremony. Cristofer & Brekka looked so adorable. untitled-7untitled-12untitled-15untitled-6“Tofer” as they call him, walked his mommy up the aisle and when the pastor asked “who gives this woman to be married?” he shouted out “ME” So cute! untitled-25The wedding party that was sporting the awesome fuchsia. Loved the detail on the guys vests & the girls flowers that once again Katie made.bridesmaids-copyuntitled-14groomsmenlilligrenwedding871

Last but not least the cake photos. Blakes face & the cake topper are priceless.untitled-31

Thank you both for letting me be part of your special day!
