A Modern Newborn Session in Minneapolis
Oh goodness, when I got the email from my sweet past bride Mollie on booking their newborn session I about leaped out of my chair. Mollie has such an amazing eye for color, design and symmetry. I knew her nursery wouldn’t disappoint. But when I walked in this space, I may or may not have gotten weak in the knees. White, chambray and black with my brand colors as accents? WIN.
This couple met their sweet Kate after a long labor. She is perfect and was a total gem our entire session! It’s such a blessing to photograph a couple from engagement through meeting their children for the first time. Y’all it’s such a privilege.
Now go get on and meet this new family of 3 and check out how just ridiculously BEAUTIFUL this nursery is!
these are such great captures ! your photography is outstanding. i love your light filled images. do you ever give tips on your fave lens & fave settings for indoor newborn sessions? i’m still trying to navigate these…so many homes i shoot in are not light filled and i struggle with clear images. these are perfection!
Paige! THANK YOU so much for your sweet words! I would say any camera with a great ISO range ( I use Canon Mark III) and a prime lens that can get down to 1.4 or 1.8 is key. I love (35mm & 50mm). I also do research with my couples of families on what time of day their house gets the most sunlight. That helps tremendously!!! Hope this is helpful!
So so sweet. I can’t pick a favorite 🙂
