“But mark this: the nature of your calling does not indicate the level of Gods approval of you. And the fact that others have gifts and opportunities you don’t have DOESN’T diminish the intensity of Gods intentionality about the things He created you to do. ” – Steven Furtick

Reading this was such a lightbulb moment for me. I literally wrote in the margin “TAKE THAT COMPARISON”

I want to live between these paragraph lines everyday. Where I can squash comparison instead of it get lost in it. Where I can cheer my brains out for others successes. Where I can see God’s unique design in others gifts in a PURE way. True Freedom y’all.

Want to live here with me?

  1. YES YES a million times YES. God created me to do… many times I wait for the next word….created me to do WHAT exactly? Then I be silent – be truly quiet, and listen to what God puts on my heart. After reading Nancy Ray’s latest book “The Practice of the Presence of God”….I am looking to God in the most mundane tasks, like taking a walk or doing the dishes. I want to stop comparing my life to others and just LIVE my life. True freedom amen.
