BAYFIELD PAVILION CORAL AND NAVY WEDDING
Y’all, weddings by the water just have a special place in my heart. Stephanie and Brian feel the same way about being on the water and this became the inspiration and vision for their wedding day. From the rehearsal the night before on the Madeline Island Ferry to their reception at the Bayfield Pavilion decorated with ship lap, twinkle lights and splashes of navy and Brian’s family’s boats docked there.
The town of Bayfield and its waterfront carries the setting of just a place to relax and reset. My sweet bride Steph was the same! She was so calm and just excited to marry her man! I was a nervous wreck before our wedding almost 9 years ago and this girl didn’t see her man till the altar AND she and her girls were playing a fun game of Apples to Apples while getting ready! What a woman y’all!
Like I mentioned there was no first look for this pair, Brian first saw Stephanie as she walked down the aisle which made those images all the more powerful and meaningful. He mentioned that after his first couple of glances he had to focus on keeping it together, which was so incredibly sweet. Another sweet moment of the day was Stephanie’s mom sharing with me that Brian makes her so happy, like no one else has ever done.

And to have double rainbows on your wedding day? It doesn’t get better than that. Rainbows hold a special place in the Bride’s family as well. It was quite a moment. The rainbow touch Mackinac Island all the way across to the Bayfield side. I also had to start this blog post with some of my favorite parts of the town. Seriously, the blues have my heart!
