Christ-Centered Wisconsin Farm Wedding

Andrea and Mason promised a heart-filled Wisconsin farm wedding inspired by the beauty of God’s nature and it did. not. disappoint! Tansy Hill Farm is a crazy-beautiful wedding venue in the area of Wisconsin where my husband actually grew up. What an amazing venue tucked into the Central Wausau area.

I can’t even tell you how incredibly inspiring this pair is. From the crazy-unbridled joy at seeing each other during the first look to the grace they showed each of their guests and vendors, too, to the beautiful way that Christ was the center through each moment of their day! You might remember I photographed their baptisms as part of their lakeside fall engagement session. They continued to express their desire to keep God at the heart of their marriage with a foot washing ceremony. They wrote their own vows and wrote them in gorgeous books from Magnolia Market.

While we did have some rain, it was perfectly timed after the final family photo until ceremony time! We all gathered in prayer and hoped for the pouring rain to stop. The skies opened up for a clear ceremony + remarkably beautiful evening. The service was set up to feature the beauty of the farm at its best. Andrea specifically chose this new way to face the ceremony at Tansy and it was so perfect! The floral by Ferm at Inspired by Nature  was an AH-mazing complement to everything. Andrea also put together such soft colors with a fun gingham—I was so impressed. Each guest also had their meal on actual China plates.

There were so many moments of fun, too. Bucky the Badger, the University of Wisconsin—Madison mascot, showed up for photos at the end as the sun set and the polka band started to play. Everything was downright magical, down to the sparkler exit at the end of the night. Andrea and Mason, may the Lord just  continue to lead you both into a beautiful many years of marriage. He shines SO brightly in you both!!!
