Elegant Minikahda  Club Wedding

Where to start? Grace and Mike’s Minikahda Club wedding was nothing short of amazing. Rooted in every detail was a thoughtful touch that reflected the couple and their relationships not only with each other but also with their friends and family who ALL came together to celebrate the start of their new journey as husband and wife.

Starting with 24 bridal party members to a honoring Mike’s father by wearing a piece of his favorite shirts as his pocket square to suspenders and bow ties made from the MacLean family tartan to the location itself, where Grace’s grandfather was a founding member — it all came together to beautifully reflect this sweet family centered couple.

Hearts of Gold. Seriously these two and the way that they loved their friends and looked at each other all night just had my heart pumping of joy.

My favorite parts throughout the day included the way Mike would just gaze at Grace. She was so happy she just glowed, and her groom was SO present to take in every moment. It truly melted my heart. Another favorite was that most of the groomsmen knew me from Maggie + Danny’s wedding. Nothing but fun when the groomsmen know you well enough to give you a little attitude during photos.

Another special touch was the choreographed father-daughter dance with her dad to My Girl; it was so sweet + adorable! Also, during speeches, Grace received the Family Cup trophy from the Perillo Family—which was a tradition from Mike’s dad. The emotions surrounding this moment were so wonderful to witness!

Lastly, these two had such an fun flow at their reception. It started with amazing signature drinks the represented each couple, live music, and and East Coast-style of dancing between courses. They also had a slow-mo video booth from Playatta. Each layer added so much excitement + ENERGY to the reception!

Grace and Mike, every moment of your day was beautiful! May you always be surrounded and uplifted in marriage by your amazing family and friends. Love you!!

Grace’s engagement diamond was a family heirloom, originally from Grace’s great great Grandmother (1889). Stunning! Also her Garter was made from her grandmothers beautifully detailed copper lace dress!!!       I have to give credit to all the groomsmen here! Their chair idea! Was pretty hilarious!  Such a beautiful moment to honor + remember Thomas Perillo, the groom’s Father. Truly Obsessed with this embrace below in Black + White.   Can’t get enough of the leg hair + socks! Ha! The lettuce ones are modeled by my hilarious 2016 groom Danny!
