FALL-INSPIRED CALHOUN BEACH CLUB WEDDING
This was the most magical wedding to photograph as my last wedding at Calhoun Beach Club. The location it’s closing its doors as a wedding venue and all of the local photographers are so sad about it! Lauren + John’s fall-inspired wedding had all of the amazing elements! Sweet friends + family were part of each step of the way, from invites to planning it has been a joint event. There were SO many incredibly personal touches—like their engagement session in Ely and at John’s work Sociable Cider. The groom made pretty much all of the beer/cider, and the champagne toast was his sauvignon blanc ,barrel-aged Freewheeler from Sociable!
Another favorite of mine was the amazing + unique jewelry! The ring is a family heirloom from Joanne’s mom with an additional band done by Alber’s Jewelry, diamond earrings from the same jewler were ahigh school graduation gift from her parents, the pearl jackets are family heirloom gifted from Joanne & lastly a necklace from Alber’s Jewelry gifted to Lauren from John several years ago.
These two and their crew were up for anything! We braved the rain a couple of times and got just beautiful, beautiful images. Y’all. Find the exit image that is BEAMING with HAPPINESS! I want to blow that image up on my wall Lauren, because it’s why I do what I do! To support you and love you to get to that amazing moment and take it all in! You both did just that!
