Katie + Austin | Married
This was an incredible day that was filled with so much love and emotion. I had the privilege of photographing Katie and Austin’s wedding, and it was truly a magical and unforgettable experience. The wedding took place at the beautiful Nicollet Island Pavilion, which provided the perfect backdrop for this classic and timeless wedding.
From the moment I arrived, I could feel the excitement and anticipation in the air. The venue was adorned with elegant decorations and exquisite floral arrangements, creating a stunning atmosphere. Katie looked absolutely radiant in her wedding gown, and Austin’s emotion for his bride was the sweetest! And the first look between Katie and her father was unforgettable.
The reception was filled with laughter, tears of joy, and lots of dancing. The speeches delivered by their loved ones were incredibly sentimental, highlighting the profound impact Katie and Austin have had on their lives. It was evident that their families and friends cherished this couple and were overjoyed to see them married!

Magical Rooftop Museum of Contemporary Art Wedding
I am so excited to share with you one of my most anticipated weddings of the year!!! Danielle and I connected immediately from the first couple of emails. I just knew it was going to be such an amazing day from the beginning!
First, friends, this couple has hearts the size of the moon. Always asking how I was and gifting my husband the infamous spotted cow beer of WI! (we can’t buy it in MN) Danielle and I also share a love of all things navy + stripes. Twins for life, girl!
Second, their location was so remarkable! An outdoor ceremony on the rooftop sculpture garden of the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art! The museum is just so classic with modern and simple touches. The atmosphere of State Street is right there with the Capitol right in the background.
The best part is that rooftop’s hold a special meaning in their relationship! I had to pull some of Danielle’s words from one of our first emails because it’s so beautiful.
“Jordan and I got engaged in January during a weekend trip from Madison to Green Bay to visit friends. He was so sneaky and recreated where we went on our first date. At the last stop of the evening at Titletown Brewing Company’s rooftop patio (it was so cold out, my drink froze), he asked. No sooner had I stopped crying did two of my best friends run out to hug us — he’d been conspiring with them the whole time. I’ll never forget the joy I felt of getting engaged in my favorite place, but how much sweeter it felt to share that with two of my best girls. I wish I could bottle that moment, and if I get to relive that feeling on my wedding day, I’ll consider myself so blessed. And that’s how I want to remember the day in photos: authentic, full of REAL love surrounded by family and friends.”
Danielle + Jordan your day unfolded just like your words, and even better! The joy on your faces completely tell the story of the love and just happy the day held! From the ring warming, to sleepy ring bearers, to Ken Griffey Jr + Bucky. The day was pure magic in that museum and I would do it by your side a 100 times over and again.
Wishing you a million magical rooftop moments in your years ahead friends. So much LOVE! Enjoy your blog story!

All the Fall Feels Wedding | Lumbar Exchange
This couple’s wedding day was fully of amazing fall nudges + a bit of Bohemian magic in the middle of Minneapolis city scape. We did the day a bit backwards with a 12 ceremony at the Basilica and no first looks! I was BLOWN away by Bella’s dress + veil and thought it was nothing but adorable that she got ready in the room she grew up in!
After the ceremony we were able to hop to a couple of favorites for photos! The stairs of the Basilica, the awesome forest and the top of the parking garage at Lumber Exchange! Y’all I just can’t get over the colors and the floral at this wedding!
Watching Bella + Travis just look at each other intently with joy was such a highlight of the day for me! These two together could rule the world. Their calm, confident and intentional hearts just show how much they care for many! I always love watch guests walk into this venue because it’s so unexpected in the middle of this building!
The best part of the night for me was the dancing! Here came out the fun and silly/happy smiles and just was in love with how Travis and his mom interpreted the first dance! It was perfect!
Bella + Travis you are perfect together and it was such a joy to watch you make the marriage official, though you have gone together like peanut butter and jelly for a lifetime already! Enjoy your blog sneak!

Soul-Filled Oak Ridge Country Club Wedding
This wedding just warms my heart and soul! The interactions of Michelle + Ryan all day just had my heart singing!! From the amazing portraits + silliness + golf cart racing we captured at Oak Ridge Country Club to even the start of the day and their first look reactions to each other. Y’all it was magical and I couldn’t stop jumping up and down at how much these two love each other!
These two love their people so well and would do anything for their friends! Seeing how connected they are to their nieces and nephews and family just was SO inspiring! I even love how Ryan shared a donut with his nephew even before his bride and it was so perfect!
Michelle and Ryan chose had an awesome musical set up with a DJ and a band! So fun! Ryan and his mom started off with a slow dance and it quickly turned into JUMP JUMP and got everyone out on the dance floor! Then the band played immediately after that and it was such a great transition! Everyone had such an amazing time + these two were all smiles every part of the day!
Ryan + Michelle you two are full of the love that this world needs! Seriously the way that you look at each other and care for others is incredible! I’m so honored to have been able to capture your amazing wedding day! So much love and blessings ahead!

Unbelievable Elegant Baby Blue Alexandria Wedding
Oh my goodness friends! This wedding!! There aren’t enough words for how unbelievable it was! Not only did my sweet couple just have the most amazing wedding day, each detail was just over the top in the most incredible elegant ways! Each space transformed night and day by Lois and her team at Creations Studio MN!
The floral at this wedding friends I have seen NOTHING like it! The Carlos Creek Winery was transformed with chandeliers, amazing wreathed and balls of flowers all in beautiful pastel colors. It felt like we were in the middle of cosmopolitan or dare I say a royal wedding! Oh and that REAL FLORAL WALL! I can still smell it!
While I could go on and on about each piece and the beautiful intent behind them. The best part of ALL of this was Elizabeth and Micah. Friends these two are meant for each other and they rock it in front of the camera! From their serious to their EPIC laughter, I just am still jaw dropped about the set of portraits we did together at Carlos and the bright sun just beaming SO perfectly! My favorite ever!! Don’t miss that set with them both after the family photos below!!!
Elizabeth and Micah! Honestly the words are still hard to come by HOW GREAT of a day you both had! How amazing God + your families are and just how happy I am to know you both! Enjoy your sweet blog sneak and so many more to come!!

Incredible Pink Winter Wonderland Mpls Depot Wedding
Walking into the Depot for Gabrielle and Tyler’s wedding was like stepping into a royal winter wonderland! I love shooting at the stunning Minneapolis Renaissance Depot, yet I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the ceremony space! Florals from floor to ceiling along with beautiful textures and macaroon’s as far as the eye could see! It was the same awe when they opened the reception hall for dinner, the feeling of a starry night + lush floral + pink!
The day truly had the most perfect mix of gold, blush pink and black! There were so many incredible pieces to this day! From Gabrielle’s Marchesa, purchased at Annika Bridal that was divine, to the sparkle of each dress her girls had!
My favorite parts of the day included the many surprises and sweet moments! Gabrielle seeing her dear Grandmother was so incredible and many tears were shed. To the first surprise of her mother singing during their ceremony, to the end of the ceremony where Gabrielle’s mom coordinated a group of 20+ singers and trumpets started singing All You Need Is Love right after the first kiss! Gabrielle was the only one in the bridal party that didn’t know and you can completely tell on her face how BIG the surprise was!
Secondly, this gorgeous couple has the sweetest kitty Shouli! He was so fun during our engagement session! It was such a thoughtful touch that Gabrielle’s grandmother snuck a look-a-like kitty on their cake! Their faces when they saw it were incredible! It looked SO much like their Shouli!
Lastly, the connection of sweet Gabrielle + her mother was just so inspiring! Throughout the day there were just exchanges of smiles and happy tears. Gilah’s speech had us all teared up and laughing at the same time! Pure Magic.
Gabrielle + Tyler, your day still feels like a dream! I am wishing you both ( + Shouli) the most magical real life dreams in the many years to come! So much LOVE! Beautiful + Bright January Radisson Blu Wedding
Oh friends! I just loved this wedding day! Heather + Bob are just the sweetest and I have always loved Heather’s style + instagram! I definitely was not disappointed when I arrived at the Radisson Blu Minneapolis on her wedding day! From her PERFECT hair to her amazing jewelry, each detail was weaved in with so much heart! I was blown away! Stunning colors of gold and hunter green, with wine and red peppered in. It all fit so beautifully! Also, her adorable pup joined us in the morning for some images! So cute! The sparkles were everywhere and I just could not after Heather put her amazing dress on! Her entire look was so captivating!
We traveled over to St. Paul for a beautiful traditional Catholic ceremony and we snuck outside despite it being 10 degrees and WINDY to get some amazing shots! I knew these two would be brave as we ventured into the cold for their winter engagement session as well! Then we returned back to the gorgeous Radisson Blu hotel and had cocktail hour on the beautiful long sky bridge overlooking the hotel. Then celebrated the reception in the huge Lakes Ballroom with all of Heather + Bob’s favorite people. It was a crazy delight! I just could not get over how incredibly stunning this couple was all day!
Heather + Bob! I know you will continue to light up those around you as you both are full of heart! I’m so excited your married life ahead! Enjoy your blog story sneak!

Heart + Happy Hewing Winter Wedding
This wedding! From the first email I knew was going to be MAGIC! I photographed Alex’s brothers wedding 7 years ago and it still goes down in history as one of my favorites ever!! From our first meeting to each step in between there was so much heart, happy and laughter. We are already practically family! Which makes this girls serving/connection heart SO happy!
The moment that I walked into the hotel room the happy-electric vibe was on point! Make-up final touches and setting out all the details we had a blast. Then slap a 40+ degree day in early January made us all so giddy at the day ahead!
As usual one of my favorite parts of the day was hanging out on the rooftop of the Hewing Hotel + alleyway at the end of the night! Yet, the tears hit as these two had the sweetest ceremony ended with the perfect tear-filled kiss or should I say kisses! Those exit photos slay me! Also, y’all Claire was just delighted all day! Her mom worked SO hard on all the details of the day, you’ll see when Claire walked into the ballroom she was truly taken away into tears at how it all turned out. Such a sweet moment!
This pair was up for anything silly + fun in their images! Right after we shot some Newlywed photos outside we came inside for a shoe change and got a little goofy jumping on the bed! These two and their families are just amazing humans and I am so grateful to call many of them friends!!
Claire + Alex. There are no words for you two. A Rainbows + Kittens burst just sums up a teeny bit of my love for you both! I can’t wait to capture many more years together!

Stunning Snuggly Northwoods + Clyde Iron Works Wedding
Y’all, this was the perfect wedding to wrap up my 2018 wedding season!!! These two and their zest for life + dancing and family! And friends, Laura’s smile is one of the most unique I have ever photographed. Her smile LITERALLY lights up a room, like a lightening bolt of joy. If you know her you get what I mean right?!?! Then you have Mike with the biggest heart and the best humor! It was super fun that there were so many familiar faces at this wedding as I have photographed this bride’s siblings before! It’s so much fun to hug everyone again on a celebration day!
I was just swooning with the beautiful greenery hung in the ceremony area! Also all the first looks! One with her girls, dad and of course her! Then we headed out to one of their favorite places in Duluth and took some EPIC photos in the woods + river! It was incredibly near where they got engaged. SO fun to add in those little moments!
One of the coolest parts of Clyde Iron Works was the industrial feel + layout! These two know how to throw a dance party! I had so much fun during this part of the night capturing all the dancing + silliness!
Laura + Mike here is too trillions of years celebrating up north with your amazing hearts + smiles! SO MUCH LOVE!

Incredible Barn on Stoney Hill Wedding
Oh friends! I am so excited to share this beautiful wedding WI wedding day! Shelby + David celebrated their amazing day at the Barn on Stoney Hill! Shelby and I had playing basketball in college as a common thread and it was so fun to watch her + David celebrate with their sweet friends + teammates throughout the day. Also, these two just had the most wonderful families!!! Hearts of GOLD they all had!
That isn’t even talking details, these beautiful custom illustrated invites, to Shelby’s two piece wedding dress (SERIOUSLY MY FAVORITE THING EVER!!!) Both looked PERFECT on Shelby! From hair to floral, it was just a beautiful dream of a day!
Favorite parts of the day were the happy petal toss! Watching Shelby get loved on by her sister + how much she loved the little ones during the day, holding them during dancing and making a note to make them feel so loved! And of course how the dance floor went nuts when it opened!!!
Shelby + David, I wish you two nothing but a million more competitive game nights + sweet fun with your amazing families! You are two are just the BEST!

Stunning Minneapolis Depot Wedding
Amanda and Luke wanted a personal, intimate wedding that celebrated their storied history and bright future, and their stunning Minneapolis Depot wedding delivered! From the way their families contributed to the day from the custom ceremony feature wall by Amanda’s father to the jewelry by the groom’s mother to the childhood friend who married them—each detail was thoughtful and significant to their journey together. Luke even played the theme song from the “Up” movie for their first look. Swoon.
Nestled in the Depot’s Winter Garden, the wood wall with stunning florals was just the most beautiful intimate spot for the ceremony. Fun fact – this couple was coincidentally married eight years, eight months and eight days after their first date! There were laughs and crys and just the most personalized ceremony I’ve seen in a while.
We also had to snag a couple of photos near the Guthrie as Luke was in a Christmas Carol there and they got engaged on the stage in between shows that day. It was fully orchestrated with lights, our favorite song, and a champagne toast.
Amanda and Luke, you waited a long time for your perfect day, and my wish is that you celebrate every moment as you joyfully dance together as husband and wife.
