A new hat. A new perspective. A new brand. A new job. All in the month of June.

Where is my pillow?

Last month was seriously a bit sureal. From packing up and wrapping up my things at my full time job, to celebrating three years of marriage, to leaping into full-time photography, to shooting 4 weddings, and last but not least launching my new brand and producing a my big SW shoot in Texas. This month left me feeling two things. Grateful and exhausted.

Grateful because I couldn’t have done any of the above with out the support of my family, friends and fans. Everyone of you picked me up and motivated me at some point in time. Whether it be a comment, an email, a smile or just listening. Some have used the tough love approach, (**cough** to you miss) but I am seriously blown away by the support and positive notion that people have expressed to me. Thank YOU, I am so very grateful and blessed.

Exhausted yes, which is something I am trying to master my first “real” week here at the home office. My body is still telling me I need to sleep till the afternoon, but I am finally feeling rested. I am taking a stab and trying out my new schedule and winning in some places and struggling with others. I know it will take some adjustment, but if anyone has tips or tricks on what works for you and your schedule please share. I would love to hear your ideas!

I did get a chance to surprise clean the entire upstairs of our house and cook dinner for Matt when he arrived at home on Monday. It was actually fun, rewarding and I surprised myself at my homemade yummy creations….best moment of it all was before Matt went to bed he whispered. “Thank you so much for what you did today, I was able to come home and really relax. It meant so much”

I could get used to this. 🙂
