Bright + Vibrant McNamara Wedding

I always love a McNamara Wedding and Rachel + Nate’s was NO exception! This couple met at a mutual friend’s party and you could tell that cornerstone of friendship — between the bride and groom, between he couple and their wedding party and with guests — was core to the day. Everyone was so happy to come together and see these two commit to one another and then celebrate!! I had the privilege of photographing Nate’s sisters wedding a couple of years ago on a cold winter day! We flipped the weather for Nate’s day with the heat.

While it was a hot, hot, hot day, we ventured outside for a few fun photos outside of the stadium and of course the home of Gopher hockey, Mariucci Arenea, as Nate is a fan. After dinner, we snuck out for a few sunset photos in front of McNamara Alumni Center, and you could tell groom Nate was as happy as had been all day, spending time with his beautiful bride with the stress of the day (and the heat) behind him. These were truly some of my favorite moments of the day.

I am so in love with these Kate Spade Keds sparkling shoes y’all, I might have to get a pair for me! Now I have had brides have them in white, pink + blue! They are just the best! Also, Rachel wore her grandmother Grace’s set of opal jewelry, and it was just so stunning and symbolic! Rachel + Nate what a beautiful day! I loved every moment!

Went your past groom goes for this while leaving the lobby! You just have to capture it.
