Magical Rooftop Museum of Contemporary Art Wedding
I am so excited to share with you one of my most anticipated weddings of the year!!! Danielle and I connected immediately from the first couple of emails. I just knew it was going to be such an amazing day from the beginning!
First, friends, this couple has hearts the size of the moon. Always asking how I was and gifting my husband the infamous spotted cow beer of WI! (we can’t buy it in MN) Danielle and I also share a love of all things navy + stripes. Twins for life, girl!
Second, their location was so remarkable! An outdoor ceremony on the rooftop sculpture garden of the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art! The museum is just so classic with modern and simple touches. The atmosphere of State Street is right there with the Capitol right in the background.
The best part is that rooftop’s hold a special meaning in their relationship! I had to pull some of Danielle’s words from one of our first emails because it’s so beautiful.
“Jordan and I got engaged in January during a weekend trip from Madison to Green Bay to visit friends. He was so sneaky and recreated where we went on our first date. At the last stop of the evening at Titletown Brewing Company’s rooftop patio (it was so cold out, my drink froze), he asked. No sooner had I stopped crying did two of my best friends run out to hug us — he’d been conspiring with them the whole time. I’ll never forget the joy I felt of getting engaged in my favorite place, but how much sweeter it felt to share that with two of my best girls. I wish I could bottle that moment, and if I get to relive that feeling on my wedding day, I’ll consider myself so blessed. And that’s how I want to remember the day in photos: authentic, full of REAL love surrounded by family and friends.”
Danielle + Jordan your day unfolded just like your words, and even better! The joy on your faces completely tell the story of the love and just happy the day held! From the ring warming, to sleepy ring bearers, to Ken Griffey Jr + Bucky. The day was pure magic in that museum and I would do it by your side a 100 times over and again.
Wishing you a million magical rooftop moments in your years ahead friends. So much LOVE! Enjoy your blog story!
