Intimate Private Property Edina Wedding

When Erica first reached out to me and described her wedding as cozy and intimate including immediate family, I knew I had to be a part of it. I have always had a think for a breakfast or brunch concept of a wedding! I shot a cover campaign option for Southern Weddings years ago with the same idea. I couldn’t wait to see the lovely set up this sweet couple put together!

Their brunch was full of touching toasts with champagne and the most amazing hats! It was the warmest day of the year and even at 10:00am it was steaming and so everyone went into the home and wore hats that their Grandmother had collected from every country around the world! It was so fun to see the hat trend slowly start and then provide relief from the sun! Such a moment to remember!

This couple loves to travel and left immediately after their brunch to head to Portugal for their honeymoon! Erica and John, I wish you nothing but the most amazing marriage! I think you need to start your own hat room in your home in Texas! Blessings!

There is just something about photographing friends that you grew up with. A friend you spent hours on the practice and playing field with. Team sleepovers, crazy laughter and of course iconic Arne pool parties! I definitely get extra jitters on these wedding days!

Then you fast forward 10-15 years and see beautiful they have become! How the Lord brought just the PERFECT mate into their lives and to see them flourishing and the happiest you have ever seen them. This was Jess and Darin’s wedding day to a T for me. So much amazing fun, genuine tears of joy and happy! AND On top of that to have the MOST amazing details, floral and styling by Sadie’s, location and amazing and efficient event design by Fab Event Design. The day just was remarkable!

Jess, you were nothing but stunning, glowing, and full of joy! Darin is your perfect other half and it was nothing but amazing to watch you marry this guy and see your amazing families celebrate your marriage!

A St Paul Summit Manor Wedding

I knew this Saturday in June would be remarkable because this pair is so wonderful! They both have amazing style and taste, so I was incredibly excited to see Malinda’s vision come together.

I about fainted when we took the dress out of it’s bag. Y’all this dress couldn’t have been MORE perfect for my bride. Delicate, stunning, unique, fitted and effortless. These are the exact words that I would describe Malinda and Chad with! Their day was about loving the family and friends that came and just have a sweet day full of life and heart. Summit Manor of St. Paul was also just the perfect venue, filled with many different levels and surprises for their guests!

A MINNEAPOLIS WEDDING BLESSING

I had the honor of photographing a wedding blessing at the Basilica of Saint Mary this June! These two were officially married exactly a year before this blessing, but did not get to capture it like they hoped. So we did it right on the anniversary of their big day and I was so happy to be a part of it!

I couldn’t get over Amanda’s BHLDN dress and veil and simple red floral! Seriously, I think I probably repeated a million times how amazing it was. Plus seeing their joy and just zest for life in these images makes my heart swoon! What a simple and intimate celebration my team got to be a part of!
